The creation of the series took me back to my basics after few years spend studying abroad;
back to my home, back to my studio, back to my space, and back to only my thoughts and ideas.
“Finding Familiar” is the year after being home again combined; a year when I experienced great loss, confusion, sorrow, new sensations, joy, and love. All these while holding on to my main inspiration; the cell life and the human body on cellular level.
